With a high reputation across the UK our Hampshire stained glass studio specialises in new commissions for stained glass windows and traditional leaded glass restoration of church windows in Portsmouth, Winchester, Bournemouth, Andover, Basingstoke, Southampton and surrounding UK counties. DECORATIVE STAINED GLASS Our chief glass painter is a contemporary stained glass window artist and an elected Associate of the BSMGP, specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of stained glass and decorative glass for architectural settings including commercial, cultural, domestic, educational, healthcare, and religious environments. Although much of the studios work is for ecclesiastical settings we have made many beautiful windows for secular buildings across Hampshire and our windows can be found in many location in the UK and southern counties in schools, in libraries, reception rooms and entrance lobbies. LEADED WINDOW RESTORATION Often original leaded lights will have loose and rattling glass, cracked solder joints and/or very fragile lead calmes (this is the network or matrix of lead strips that holds the different pieces of glass together). As age weakens the lead and solder the whole window can fall apart once lead deterioration reaches a critical stage of decay. We can restore these windows to give you in excess of a further 100 years of life.
